Gathering Place provides a free, hot meal Monday through Friday between 5-6pm. In addition to monetary support, volunteers have an opportunity to serve once or twice a month.

Clinic With a Heart is a faith-inspired organization designed to serve the uninsured and underinsured through a ministry of health care. Volunteers serve the first Thursday of the month. Medically skilled and unskilled help needed.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical, Christian housing organization that builds affordable housing in a partnership with people in-need. Volunteers needed every fall and spring.

Lincoln Food Bank Backpack Program is a school-based program to provide a weekly backpack of nutritious food to children of low-income families. We purchase, pack and deliver 100 backpacks. Volunteers needed on Thursdays and Fridays during the school year.

Tabitha Meals on Wheels provides a hot, nutritious meal and daily safety check to seniors and individuals with disabilities who are able to remain in their homes.  First-Plymouth delivers an average of 50 meals each Sunday over four routes.  Volunteers are needed to drive a route 5 to 6 times per year.  Routes take about 60-90 minutes and can begin from First-Plymouth after the 9:00am or 10:30am services.  This is a great opportunity for the whole family or individuals.  To volunteer contact Beth Hartman at bethjh@connections.net or Nancy Shelley nshelley67@gmail.com.

Transportation Drivers
Looking for 3-4 drivers who would enjoy helping our older members be able to still worship at the church by providing them with round trip rides to the 10:30am service on Sundays.  We would like to find individuals who would cover a geographic area of Lincoln and enough drivers to rotate.   We are willing to provide a stipend and a waiver for the rider to sign releasing you and First Plymouth from liability.  You must be a safe driver, clean vehicle and carry insurance.  Hoping one of the drivers would become the coordinator and work with Pastor KJ to meet this ministry goal.  Contact kj@firstplymouth.org.
