Jeremy Roberts serves as the Associate Minister of Music at First Plymouth Church in Lincoln, NE. At First Plymouth, he leads a graded choir program for children and youth, directs the adult choral ensemble, Te Deum, assists in the leadership of the Plymouth Choir with both directing and accompanying, and serves as a service organist in worship. Before coming to First Plymouth, Jeremy served as the Director of Music and Organist at First Presbyterian Church of Asheville for eight years. He has also served Presbyterian, Lutheran and UCC congregations in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Mr. Roberts has served as a presenter and clinician for events hosted by the American Guild of Organists, Association of Lutheran Church Musicians, the Montreat Conference Center, and the Presbyterian Association of Musicians. He holds a Bachelor of Music and Religion from Grove City College and a Master of Arts in Church Music from Trinity Lutheran Seminary. Jeremy enjoys life in Lincoln with his husband, Garrett, their dog Herbert (named for Herbert Howells), and their cats, Calvin and Hobbes. He loves cooking, baking, reading, art, a good cup of tea, and meaningful conversations.
