09/16 Parent Connect: Finding Your People
One thing we’ve heard from parents is they’re looking for community—people to laugh with, lean on, and simply do life alongside. Years ago, many First Plymouth families found that kind of connection through Tower Groups—small groups of parents who gathered outside of church for dinners, playdates, date nights, and everything in between. This September, we’ll hear from several parents who were part of those groups as they share their stories and help us explore how we can create those kinds of meaningful friendships again. Come ready to connect, share ideas, and maybe find your people!

Grab the whole family, throw on your coziest pajamas, and join us for a night of fall fun! We’ll decorate pumpkins, enjoy some pizza, and settle in to watch Light of the World. Join us Sunday, Sept. 27, from 4–6 PM in Mayflower Hall. Families of all ages are welcome—kids just need to bring an adult along! Please sign up so we know how many pumpkins and pizzas to provide. We’re thrilled to continue guiding our children in their faith journeys by presenting our 3rd graders with their very own Bibles! Parents of 3rd graders, please use this Sign-Up Link to sign up your child so we’ll be ready with a Bible for them. Mark your calendars—Thursday, October 22nd from 5:30–7:00 PM—and join the fun! Our annual Trunk or Treat is coming, and we need your help to make it a spooktacular success. From decorating trunks and hosting booths to greeting families, running activities, or donating candy, there’s a spot for everyone to pitch in. A candy barrel will be in the west entrance starting in September.
