Award-winning writer and author, Ward Wilson will speak on “Hope in the Nuclear age: The Realist Case for Eliminating Nuclear Weapons” on Saturday, April 20, at 9:00am at First-Plymouth Church (2000 D Street). All are welcome to join the session as he shares ideas from his just-completed book, Hope in the Nuclear Age: the Realist Case for Eliminating Nuclear Weapons.
Ward Wilson is an award-winning writer and author of Five Myths About Nuclear Weapons. He is widely acknowledged as the leading source of pragmatic arguments against nuclear weapons in the world today. He has spoken in 23 countries including at the Pentagon, the French National Assembly, the United Nations, Harvard, Stanford, Princeton, Georgetown, the Sorbonne, the U.S. Naval War College, King’s College London, Hamburg University, Nagasaki University, and others.
