Wednesday Night Live!
First-Plymouth's mid-week ministry for religious growth and learning for ALL ages 0-105!
In the midst of your busy and complicated week, come join us to refuel your body, mind, and spirit! Dinner is served at 5:00 p.m. weekly so there's no need to worry about making that happen at home ($6 adults, $3 children, no one turned away for lack of funds). Then comes classes, activities, and events for all ages that will challenge and inspire you in ways you couldn't have imagined. You'll be ready for anything come Thursday morning, with a deepened spirituality and the fellowship of friends.
WNL Adult Track
After dinner, spend time at our Coffee and Internet Cafe, attend one of our many classes designed with you in mind, roll out your yoga mat (walk-ins welcome) or join one of our adult choirs. Our Early Childhood Ministry will nurture your little ones with loving care (registration required) while you nourish your spirit.
WNL Children and Youth Track
(Should there be a schedule with times and locations?) Even before dinner, the church is brimming with youthful energy at our Open Gym (3:30 p.m.). After dessert, our children's choirs rehearse, Plymouth Rocks (grades K-2), and Radical Christian Youth Group meets (grades 6-12) to explore our world through the eyes of faith. New this fall is Creation Station(3rd – 5th), a monthly rotation of art, drama, dance and writing experiences
Creation Station Is Here!
Experiencing God Though the Arts at Wednesday Night Live!
When knowledge fails to engage the spirit or describe the majesty of God, poets and artists have bypassed the intellect and touched the soul. Creation Station is a comprehensive and collaborative arts experience for children in grades 3rd – 5th that taps their creativity and nurtures their expressive gifts through drawing and painting, drama and drumming, movement and music, poetry and creative writing, along with the best in purposeful play.
Much of the art we create and the music we make will enhance the Sunday worship services of First-Plymouth Church throughout the church year. For we believe that children bring gifts to worship and that children can model spirituality to adults. So it is not surprising the Creation Station is co-sponsored by the Music and Children, Youth, and Families ministries.
