High School youth today are facing multiple choices about life decisions regarding relationships, their future, their education, justice issues as well as beginning to engage in the world around them in new ways. Our goal at First-Plymouth is to allow a safe and accepting space in which they can discuss and debate big issues, where they can deepen friendships, ask difficult questions and of course have some fun too.
High School Youth @ 9:00 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.
Our youth in high school aren’t afraid to tackle tough spiritual issues and we provide them a safe, welcoming environment in which to do so. We will cover topics that arise from scripture, social justice issues, current events, important subjects they face in school & at home as well as many others. Discussions are lead by our Sunday morning leaders and our Youth Directors.
Where do I go?
Our high school class meets every Sunday in the Youth Room, though we may use other rooms depending on the number we have on a Sunday morning.
High School Youth Group @ 5:00-6:30pm
Meet in Youth Room
Begins Sun, Sept 10!
Each week we will have a snack dinner each week before we dive into the plans for the week! Our goal for youth group is for our high school youth to experience faith- not just talk about it. So, from week to week we may be out in the community, have a speaker join us or have other plans to help them engage their faith with their friends here at First-Plymouth.
Begins Wed, Sept 6!
High School Study Room @ 4:00-7:30 p.m.
Rooms 001 & OO2 (by the gym)
While High School Youth Group may have moved to Sunday evenings, there is still a place for our high school youth to be on Wednesday evenings. We have a room reserved just for you to study, chill and be with your friends. This space is supervised and must be a safe space for youth to study.
High School Huddle w/Dylan
5:30-6:15 p.m. in the Youth Room
High school youth are invited to discuss & debate important topics and current events happening in our world. Dylan will facilitate the discussion and challenge you on how faith fits, informs or influences how we think about these topics.
