We have lots of ways for families to get involved and participate together in events, service projects and more here at First-Plymouth. We always encourage parents to be part of the faith formation of their children and love having them in the classrooms and as volunteers.
F-P Family Night Group
You and your family are invited to join us on the third Friday of the month, 6:00-8:00 p.m. for a time of fun and fellowship. Each month we meet either at the church or at various locations. We try to have seasonal themes and great family activities for families with preschool-5th grade children. This is a great way to meet other families here at First-Plymouth.
Lent & Advent Workshops
In December and during Lent we hold a workshop on a Sunday afternoon from 2-4 p.m. for families to come have fun together. We provide multiple opportunities for you to get creative with different art mediums, a baking/cooking project and a space for you to enjoy a snack together. This is fun for all ages!
Christmas Eve & Easter Sunday Worship for Families
On Christmas Eve and on Easter Sunday we offer a special worship service for families in Mayflower Hall. Each service is designed with young children in mind; recognizing their need to move, squirm and be active. It's a great way to worship together as a family during these special times of year.
Whether at Matt Talbot, Kids Against Hunger, here at First-Plymouth or somewhere else in our community we make it a priority to provide opportunities for parents and children/youth to serve together. We believe this is an important part of our faith- to put it in action and show love for our neighbors. Watch our CYF Serves and Calendar of Events pages (links below) for opportunities throughout the year to get involved in serving others here at First-Plymouth.
