When Your Friend Dies
Tuesday, May 1, 6:30-8:00pm
Rev. Jen Davidson and Professor Lisa Borchardt from NWU will facilitate this 90 minute learning opportunity around the grief that accompanies the death of a close friend. Participants will explore the circumstances of grief that are particular to the death of a friend rather than a family member. The group will discuss the elements of grief and be invited to set personal and private intentions to aid in the process. Those attending are encouraged to bring a photo of their friend/friendship. Each registrant will receive a copy of the brief and highly successful book “When Your Friend Dies” by Harold Ivan Smith. Cost $10. Registration required with firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 402-476-7565 ext239.
